La Taqueria has the BEST burrito I had ever had in my life - the crispy chicken burrito (with guac) is amazing and packs so much flavour. My wife had the Enchiladas Verde and she also loved it. The restaurant is definitely cozy and with very little seating but warm ... and inviting. Really disappointed with this location. The tacos from the food truck used to be my favourite tacos in the city and I decided to go to the restaurant and was super disappointed with the size and portions. The tacos used to be $4 during happy hour and now it changed ... to over $15 for 3 TINY pieces. The smallest tacos I ever had, it was literally kid size. For reference the tacos on the plate is the ones at the restaurant and the 2nd pic were from the food truck which was cheaper and REGULAR size tacos. Great set lunch menu. Portion size too small as per North American standards. Food had flavour and the ambience was welcoming.

The food and drinks were good. Everyone enjoyed that part. However the seating is very cramped and the service is very difficult to get attention or even to place your order. So because of the crowded nature and difficulty to get the waiters attention I don't think we would return.

Small place, bar/kitchen as soon as you enter, small seating area in the back for approximately 12-15 diners with bar counter seating for additional 10 diners. Mexican music in the background, dark with exposed brick walls Pork belly taco, pork was crispy and juicy Chicken enchilada plate was filling, 2 enchiladas covered with ... queso, red sauce and pickled onions which gave the dish another flavor dimension Shrimp was succulent but could have used a little more flavor. The Verde sauce with the fried cheese taco was excellent with a very strong flavor profile. Both desserts were done perfectly, empanada was sugary, light and flaky.
