We were on our way to check out a shop on Broadway and since Budgie's Burritos was nearby, I finally got to use my plant based deals coupon for it. My daughter and I both ordered burrito bowls and took them to go. It looks like a cute place and ... they have seating downstairs as well. Hope that we can eat in the shop itself next time. My daughter got The Mr. Jones burrito bowl and I got the Jamedog. The Mr. Jones was a pretty basic combination of ingredients. It had rice, beans, vegan cheese , sour cream, salsa, and green cabbage. Jamedog was similar but slightly more complex as it came with a chipotle sour cream, as well as garlic and lime roasted potatoes. Wow, those potatoes were so good! If I find myself at Budgie's Burritos again I will definitely order the Jamedog again just so I can eat those wonderful garlic and lime roasted potatoes again. This has been me and my husband's favorite place for about 9 years now. All vegetarian options can be made vegan and the most flavorful, fulfilling and satisfying flavors in a burrito you will ever get. I'm vegetarian leaning towards vegan but my husband is an absolute carnivore and he ... was the one who showed me this place and now it's our spot. Over the years they have also made the atmosphere more cozy and warm and it's just a cool vibe overall. It's honestly one of the best kept secrets and I really wanna keep it that way. I always get the Blaire Stanley made vegan and my husband gets the Johnny O (make sure to ask for a side of their sauces, the chili oil and Verde sauce are the best IMO 👌). I also love that they give you options of tortilla, beans, Lettuce and sauces. i cant say enough good things, I LOVE LOVE LOVE BUDGIES and it will always be my favorite burrito place over all the places.
