Proper guacamole, well-priced beverages, amazing (*amazing*) pupusas, and house-made salsas as they should be. Get a margarita with half the mixer for a better time. This photo may be ugly, but the food is amazing. Comfort!
Average mexican spot. Got the beef burrito, which was generous, but rather bland, with charred beef bits. Service was fast, so good spot for lunch.
Cozy place with a casual and comfortable atmosphere. The chairs are wooden, so they are not the most comfortable but easy to clean. The food came out quick. The jalapeño pieces in the salad caught me off guard, as I don't like them and didn't know they were in there until I ... bit into one. The Flan Napolitano was a cross between a custard and a sponge cake with caramel. I could have easily eaten another one and may come back to try the Chocoflan. Read more
This is my second time here and I wasn’t impressed the first time but I wanted to give the place a second chance. Came here on a slow early Friday afternoon so just me and two other tables. Lady behind counter was ok but not overly friendly. Ordered 3 soft ... tacos, 2 chicken one beef. Perhaps the blandest, stale tacos I’ve ever tasted. Even dousing it in salsa didn’t help. The meat was dry especially the beef which tasted cheap and chewy. These tacos were not worth $6.50 each! I wouldn’t pay $2.50 either. I’ve learned my lesson never again! Oh and $4.10 for a glass of horchata- dios mio! Read more
The restaurant kindly made me a burrito bowl since I am gluten-free, and the burrito is usually wrapped in a wheat flour tortilla. The lady was very accommodating and quickly answered my questions as I confirmed that none of the ingredients contained gluten. The food tasted very traditional, and the ... old-world charm of the restaurant made me feel like I was dining in a house in Mexico. I will definitely come back. Read more
