Papusas are amazing. Had them to go. Cant wait to come back. This is a very small rustic restaurant, clean. The papusas (like anywhere else) take about 20 minutes to come out. Papusas are sooo yummy did I say that already. They have the revueltas, and other special filling like cheese ... and chorizo and others. Staff extremely friendly and kind. Read more
I was so happy to find a place for pupusas in Vancouver having not eaten them in eight months 🥹 This small cafe has delicious pupusas with a few flavours. I got the chicharrón y queso (pork and cheese) but next time I want to try the loroco. The tamarindo ... drink was very refreshing too. The ration of three is really filling especially with the curtido. Nice staff as well. They are bigger than pupusas I’ve had before so I was pleasantly surprised. I’ll come back next time I’m craving pupusas! Read more
Had a great time visiting this little gem. Had a horchata, carnitas burrito, traditional pupusas, and nachos which were all very good! Lots of cheese on the nachos and in the burrito, great hot sauce too! Great rice & beans with the burrito combo
A true definition of hole in the wall with delicious Latin food. I couldn't decide what to order and the lady behind the counter was so helpful and patient explaining the menu. I made sure there was no one waiting behind me though as I went through the options. After a few ... minutes I decided on the beef soup and an order of the chicken and cheese pupusas. The beef soup was my favorite as it had big tender pieces of beef, zucchini, carrots, cabbage and plantains. The soup had a natural sweetness from all the vegetables, which came with a side of rice and warm tortillas. The chicken and cheese pupusas were hearty and it came with a side of slightly but not too pickled cabbage and carrots. It helped cut down on the heaviness of the pupusas. This is a great find and remember to bring cash since they do not accept cards. Read more
