The fish tasted stale and had an unmistakable odor of fishiness, indicating that freshness is clearly not a priority here. The rice was clumpy and poorly seasoned. The utter lack of accountability from the management team is staggering. When confronted about the subpar quality of the food and the dismal service, ... they were dismissive and unapologetic, displaying a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. It's evident that they prioritize cutting corners and maximizing profits over delivering a genuinely enjoyable dining experience. Save yourself the disappointment and avoid Samurai Sushi at all costs. There are plenty of other sushi restaurants in town that offer far superior food, service, and ambiance. The quality really went downhill over the past few years. Now the spicy tuna roll just tastes like salty soy sauce.

Original one started out great on Cambie st, then these guys don't even put a $90 sushi order in a bag with some chopsticks!! 6 containers in my arms to open the door out on my own was very unprofessional and disrespectful for a $0.20 cents paper bag. Service is always very friendly and quick but food is just a bit lacking. Fish is always very fresh which is great but yam roll you can tell they pre fry it and then keep it in the fridge it’s cold and not fresh. A little too much vinegar in ... the sushi rice. Read more

Small hole in the wall unassuming sushi place. Mid level quality but the portion sizes shine. 2 rolls plenty to fill up an adult. Good bang for your buck as long as you're not expecting gourmet.
