Maruhachi is my favorite ramen place before it changed its old name “marutama”. This one is the Gaiden of maruhachi which means it has something different. I ordered the Torisoba which has chicken broth chicken chashu and not pork used. It has a different taste than the original broth but ... delicious as well! Nowadays they offer the original ramen i.e. tamago ramen and so on. But if you are going to try this place, you should try something different like tsukw-men or torisoba! Also I should confess that chicken chashu is not as good as original pork chashu and that may be why people only make chashu in pork. Read more
