Wow - the best pizza and best caprese salad I’ve had - and I’ve had a lot of pizza in my 6-1/2 decades! Starting with the salad, the mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil were fresh and delicious; the cheese was sliced thick and the portion size was big enough to share. We shared ... two pizzas between three guys; there was enough but I easily could have had more because it tasted sooooo good. First was the Pizza Gato with whipped potatoes as a topping - sounds weird but his was, hands-down, the best pizza I’ve ever had, and I’m a fairly traditional pepperoni and mushroom guy. Our server recommended it as the best on the menu and he was spot one! The second was Prosciutto and Funghi, and while it wasn’t quite as tasty as the whipped potatoes, it was no slouch - loaded with mushrooms on an excellent tomato sauce. The crust on both was light and tasty, no leaving any of this crust on the plate! We ended the evening with a couple cannolis which were also delicious. Service was excellent! We heard there is often a short wait to get in, and even on a Tuesday there was. However, you can order a beer or cocktail and wait on the patio, so no big deal. First time here and it was a great experience overall. We ordered two pizzas: Prosciutto e fungi and pizza gatto. I really enjoyed pizza gatto, which is whipped potatoes. It’s so creamy and smooth. I will definitely come back again. By the way they don’t take reservations.

Got a cider and a pizza. Great patio seating & experience with one of the best pizza’s I’ve had in Vancouver. An attempted up-sale on the cider if you aren’t paying close enough attention. I’d happily go back.

I had a fantastic experience at this traditional Italian restaurant! They open at 4 PM, and we arrived right away – even then, two tables were already occupied. By the time we finished around 5 PM, the place was almost full. The wood-fired pizza oven adds a delightful touch, and ... the cheese and tomato sauce on the pizza were perfectly balanced, not too acidic. The pasta had that authentic, slightly firm texture.
