Reviews for Robba da Matti in Vancouver, British Columbia
Always delicious and consistent food here. Service is friendly and efficient too. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait for food but they have a very small corner to cook and they are usually busy so it is understandable.
Decent pasta for dinner and reasonable priced. Though would prefer the sauce a little less thick for the seafood pasta. Carbonara was solid. Enjoyed seating at the patio under the warm evening!
The food was amazing. However, the service that we got was terrible. The lady that helped us brought sparkling water, which we did not ask for, and almost charged us extra. The moment I have asked if the sparkling water is extra charge, her face expression has changed and since ... then her service was very rude. Even though the food was great, I don’t know if I want to visit again in the future. Read more
Excellent burrata (DOP certification from Italia!), and tasty fresh made pasta. Great flavours, fun patio atmosphere, and wonderful service. Serving sizes are adequate, and dishes are good to share family-style so you can try a greater variety of choices. A bit on the pricey side, but worth it!
I am from Europe and it took some rummaging through Google Maps before I found this gem. Staff was extremely nice, really attentive to all people dining there. The food was amazing, the salt cured guanciale and the parmezan in the Carbonara was salty but paired perfectly with one of their ... white dry wines. I would say that would be the best Carbonara I've had to this date. As well, the deserts were phenomenal, I've had the tiramisu (over which I poured an espresso, at the suggestion of one of the waitresses) and it blew my mind. As well, the panna cotta was fluffy, its flavor would pair perfectly with the runny strawberry jam. There aren't many seats and tables but that's what makes this place more elegant and extravagant. Totally will revisit this restaurant in the next few days. Read more
