Goldies Pizza - Vancouver, British Columbia

I ordered the pizza at 7:25 and it is now 9pm and he said it will be 10 minutes. Do not order if you expect the pizza to come within an hour. He told me 20 minutes 40 minutes ago. Update: I called, asked if I could receive refund, I was ... told the pizza was on its way and that I would have to talk to the driver about a refund. The pizza never showed up. I called and they said that the ordered the driver to turn around?!? After waiting over 2 hours and being told I had to talk to the driver about the possibility of a refund. I went down to the store and the manager was wearing a snap back hat and could barely speak English. He just kept trying to justify why he canceled my order, never even apologized. Only place i know in all of Van area that is serving slices and pies 24h. Friendly staff and good service. Eat it on the spot or take home and heat up in a pan on low or medium heat for fresh amazingly tasty pizza even the day after. Make ... sure you leave it in the fridge overnight. Pies are thin crust but propper reheat gives wonderful chew and tasty toppings that are clearly always fresh. Enjoy. Read more

Very slow service, waited an hour and then they served our pizza to the wrong table so did not end up trying their food. Also, they only had a female washroom. When I asked where the men’s room was I was told to use the female washroom which was not a ... private stall... Decided to hold it. Probably the worst dining experience that I can remember having. I ordered Goldies last night (Nov 17th) as takeout for delivery. I ordered it about 10:45pm. It didn't arrive until after 12:30am. By then I had fallen asleep and no longer wanted a pizza. Regardless, even if I did want to it right then, it arrives stone cold. Not even ... an ounce of warmth left to it. Further to that, the delivery driver could tell I was a little out of it after being taken from a dead sleep and short changed me $10. I ordered a medium pizza and a pop and the total was $25 and change (including a tip for the delivery guy). I have in possession a single $5 bill after giving him two $20's --- which was over and above the 15% tip that had already been included in the order total price from ordering online. I've tried calling the restaurant but cannot get anyone to pick up the phone. I'm more than a little annoyed that I was basically robbed by the delivery guy and rhen handed over a pizza that rates less than mediocre. I've been to many Goldie's pizzas and always had great things to say about each one I've been to. Can't say that about this one tho. I would love my $10 back. In the grand scheme, probably not a big deal some would say, but for me, right now, that $10 is a week's worth of food and I splurged last night by ordering a pizza. Live and learn. Read more

Awesome Pizza. In fact, this is the best pizza in Downtown Vancouver. They have an awesome walk up window for Slices to go, and they Deliver for Free! If you dont know what Goldies Pizza, then you are missing out.
