We couldn’t get a reso for the date we wanted so we lined up at 4:45pm on a rainy day and were the first in. Ambiance is great. A little tight but to be expected in such a small space. First of all, the sparkling water was free 😂 Food was ... great. Each dish was well plated and had distinct flavours. We got the cauliflower appy and it was great. Our table of four had four different pastas and different preferences but the top ranking was the Campanelle & Braised Beef Ragu Bianco (great flavours, pasta texture is great but a little salty) and the Rigatoni Alla Bolognese (traditional milder flavour, pasta was too soft for my taste, could use some crunch or more texture). The Pappardelle & Duck Ragu was also good, loved the pasta texture and the sauce was great. The Wagyu Ragu Bianco Ravioli was a special; it was really rich and a bit salty. Overall the mains were good but some were a bit salty and some pasta too soft. For dessert we got panna cotta and olive oil cake. Both were great but the olive oil is definitely stands out. Would recommend trying. Our server was great - helpful, attentive and nice. The gentleman who seated us and updated us on how long we could stay at our table was not very welcoming, he wasn’t necessarily rude but my experience would have been way better without those interactions with him. Ask for Luigi recently opened up their online booking for reservations so I was finally able to get a spot! I came here in mid day for my Dad’s birthday and we had a great time. The location is small, but cozy. The service was great and food was delicious! We ... got a variety of pasta and they were able to accommodate my sister’s dietary restrictions too. Booking ahead is a good idea since this restaurant gets busy both lunch and dinner. Even when it's packed, their service is great. Walk in around 5:15pm. Cozy atmosphere on a sunny day with lots of natural light. Meatballs were so good but I prefer a softer, melt in your mouth feel. The pasta with uni butter tasted so fresh. Love how attentive servers were! Definitely recommend and be back for more.

Very small and intimate restaurant. The space bit tight and tables small, but it’s coherent with the intimate feel of the restaurant. The location is a bit far from the touristy area and close to the less desirable East Hastings are, but otherwise not feeling unsafe.
