This is a trusted favourite restaurant of mine. The food is always fabulous and the service is good too. It’s always fun to catch the live music on the weekends. Whenever I need to treat myself I come here ❤️

We visited East is East on a Friday evening and were treated to great dining and live music from a delightful violin soloist. This ambience paired nicely with our all-you-can-eat platters: a staged self-selection of 17 different mains, 3 salads, 2 dips, 2 soups, 2 rice and 2 naan - ... served in whichever sequence and quantity that you like. Their tradition recipe hot drinks were also delicious. Big thanks to our server Afifa, who carefully explained the menu to us and provided top notch service throughout the night. We were lucky as a group of two to secure our seats with minimal wait time but we definitely recommend larger groups to reserve a table in advance. Read more

I HIGHLY recommend this place!! I came here for my final dinner in Vancouver - I am visiting from Houston . The experience was great - there were a few musicians performing on stage. The ambiance is really nice and cultural. It is also extremely relaxing! I opted for the food ... tasting experience. First time visit was full with curiosity, despite this restaurant has different locations and history. Prices are reasonable with rounds to taste different things. Atmosphere was great with lady performing . Attendance was pretty full in the middle of the week. The only complaint I had was the step in ... the middle of the restaurant and at the entrance which could be dangerous for someone who could get hurt for loosing the step onto the floor. Read more

Me and my dad came to this place at lunch hour and got the chai feast which was on for a discounted price and didn’t disappoint at all. The fact that you’re able to have tapas portions to taste a wide variety of dishes as many times as you want ... with no extra charge was definitely a highlight. We can’t have red meat so we definitely enjoyed the wide range of non meat food options. It didn’t feel like we were missing out on anything because the flavour profiles were so colourful.
