Mister Artisan Ice Cream - Vancouver, British Columbia

🥘: 10/10. Wow! I did not expect this during this trip to Vancouver! We are from Seattle and I thought we have great ice cream spots! But Mister is definitely mind blowing! We made a stop here just to get starbucks and decided to wait in line for almost one ... hour to get this ice cream because apparently this place is bomb! Me and my best friends got so many different ice creams! I got the earl gray ice cream bar and double dark chocolate ice cream! Literally nothing tops these two flavors! They are at the perfect sweetness and consistency, it did not melt right away when it enters your mouth, but give me enough time to enjoy the texture and the flavors of the ice cream. It was an experience! My friends got other flavors but honestly we all agreed the earl gray was the best out of all! 🧑🏻‍🍳: 8/10: Great service! Even though the line was never ending and the staff are all very energetic and nice to each customers that came through the door from all over the place to try this ice cream! They are all very professional and patient to tell us what is their favorite and explain how the menu works! Great team! 📍: 7/10: Located in one of the busiest area in Vancouver and I am not upset that I waited in line for so long! Because it was worth every single second of it. The place is designed very simple but with limited seating! I think it would be nice if they can have some instructions for waiting in line so the line will not be in the pedestrian’s way! We were luck to find parkings right away but I assumed it will be very hard to find parking during a busy weekend! Will definitely come back here in the future to try out their other flavors! Damn... This one caught me off guard. The ice cream was great, but the presentation? Amazing. I had Creme Brule ICE CREAM. Who knew that was a thing?!? The idea of using a torch to melt sugar on ice cream is still wild to me a day later. Awesome. Will absolutely return.

Very cool ice cream made in front of your eyes with liquid nitrogen. It’s like a lab with clouds of white liquid nitrogen. The ice cream is extremely smooth and delicious. Tried the vegan green tea and you would never know it’s vegan unless they told you. The Thai milk ... tea was good too but the best one of their current menu was the strawberry mint. Got the S’mores Ice Cream Bar (half) and it was so good! I am happy that they offer it in half and fulls size. I got the half which is just right, but if I really feel like a nice treat, I would go for a full size next time. ... It was quite expensive though, half cost around 7CAD. This branch do not carry the croissant sandwich ice cream, I’ll have to get it in Robson branch. Read more

It is quite unique to see how each ice cream was made. The creme brulee added a nice touch and the unique torched sugar fragrance to the sandwich and the ice cream. Freshly made ice cream here was nice and fluffy — different from the thick and creamy one that ... we usually have. Highly recommending the creme brulee ice cream sandwich for the variety texture. Don’t expect much from the service nor the atmosphere. The true goal is the taste of those ice cream goodies. Read more
