This is a great place to grab quick lunch. Liquids and Solids has a good collection of soup dishes. If you like onion flavor, I would highly recommend the French Onion soup. Favourite sandwich and soup place in the Lower Mainland. Randomly walked by their West Broadway location and have been coming weekly since. Amazing soup and sandwich selection, all for $12 - $14. It was my first time and I got the garden veggie chili and salad. Wasn't sure which salad I should choose so I asked for a recommendation. I was recommended the crunchy Asian salad. It was the most underwhelming salad I've had in my life. Completely under dressed and bland. ... The garden chili is pretty much the same. Really thick and not tasty. I was pretty bummed because not only was I hungry, I was excited to try them given that I went to the Hastings location over the weekend and ended up leaving on an empty stomach because they were out of everything at 2pm on a Saturday. Having a salad for lunch here is worth repeating. Delicious and meal sized without the traditional restaurant wait. Eating here is an easy choice, though choosing which tasty thing to order is harder! I highly recommend the roasted beet salad if beets are something you enjoy and the pesto chicken ... panini is amazing. Read more
