We went to Simpatico while visiting Vancouver last Saturday. It was my spouse’s birthday and we wanted something delicious and it did not disappoint. My calamari dinner was absolutely amazing and his lamb dinner was the same. I ordered the roast lamb. It was very tender, well cooked, and flavored, and the portion was really big that I had the leftover as another meal. But the service was not as good as the food, though they had a group party and they were short on staff. My partner and I got the Souvlaki Dinner and the portions are a JOKE. After taxes and tip, it came to almost $30 per meal, which is actually just ridiculous. There was hardly any rice, the meat was dry and flavourless, and it didn’t even come with a full potato. I ... highly recommend not wasting your time! Me and 5 friends had the best time here. We came in pretty late at night and they graciously still accommodated us. Our server was fantastic, recommending the best dishes and asking about us.
