Pretty darn good chicken and waffles! Although I did find that the chicken was missing some flavour and was on the blander side of the scale. Despite this, the waffles, sauces, cornbread, homemade iced tea, and fries were all amazing! The iced tea was super refreshing during a hot day ... like today at 23°C and full sun. One of the best burger in town! Always great service. You can also eat at Chickadee (next door) – same menu but with bigger dining space.
Good place for excellent fried chicken and that is all that I need to say. Everything is made fresh (you can expect there to be a bit of a wait when they are busy) and the menu does change occasionally. Seating is extremely limited so plan to take your food to go ... just in case. Read more
Spicy fried chicken that’s actually spicy !!?? Damn I was sweating !!! And those sauces…so bomb. 💣 A very cool experience. Loved the Miami vice vibe inside, it felt very lowkey. Service was good, I was the only one in the restaurant which I didn’t love but I think it’s geared ... towards a later crowd. Read more
