I love falls Creek and absolutely beautiful, beautiful place to live in.

Had lunch at this new Davie Village spot that specializes in plant-based pan-Asian cuisine—the food was delicious, portions were generous, menu was inventive, and service was exceptionally friendly. I was sad to see it was nearly empty despite being lunchtime on the weekend. Show them some love and pop by²

It's a good area n neighbourhood if you are middle class n mainstream. Not so great if you are vegan, at least not yet, but it is slowly getting better. I dragonboat in the area n often shop at the local stores like London Drugs n Urban Fare. As a ... team, afterwards, we tend to patronize Craft Market n Tap & Barrel or in smaller groups with other restaurants in the area. Lots of activities especially cyclists, joggers, walkers, n the ever increasing two wheeled zippy e-scooters. So watch out for them. Crime has gone up more since the SRO like hotel started operating in the area. Plus When the dragon boat teams are on the water in the dark with our lights on, the small little dinghies without lights, one just knows that they don't want to be seen. I wish that whichever government level is in charge of the False Creek water ways, work on installing water filters that are like floating watergardens n act like garbage n micro plastic sieves. Fuel type spills are often on the water as well. Not to mention the amount of other kinds of pollution run off from the sewerage system in the neighbourhood. Anyways, enough ranting. A masterful waterfront community with apartment blocks, walking trails, waterfront entertainment and kayaking, boating, and restaurants and photo City and harbor photo spots. Toured on a Sunday, so didn’t enter the dome or facilities. Every spot has a vista or a park bench to relax and take it ... all in. Metered street parking was easy to find. Read more

It’s a very nice area of the city with beautiful walking trails. There’s a Taps & Barrel nearby the water where you can chill. There’s also a local products bazaar some days of the week.
