3 of us went to try as many dishes as we could. Drinks and food were all great, service felt above and beyond, and the bonus was that it happened to be just warm enough for us to enjoy dinner on their patio which is spacious and has nice green ... umbrellas. We went on a Sunday so that we could try their dishes that are only served on weekends, like their Milanesa con chileqiles, birria (lamb soup), menudo (which I was into at first but wound up not being able to eat much, but that was my taste, not anything to do with the restaurant). They have lengua tacos everyday. Their prices are all reasonable and I love that they have small sizes of many dishes. It’s so refreshing to feel like we got good value in the neighbourhood (Yaletown).. We had a small order of their nachos and it was really tasty and served with guacamole sauce. Cocktails were great. Loved the chilaquiles and the Milanesa and the mole sauce on their enchiladas. We tried the prawn enchiladas too but as you’d expect, the mole ones were the winner. The refried beans are super smooth and tasty. Desserts - churros and flan were amazing. They really took care of us. Too bad I didn’t try this place before but now I know. Craving Mexican food so we stopped at this restaurant. There were plenty of people. Indoor and outdoor seating. The waitress was nice. Can't say much for the food. It was simply okay. Not horrible but I can't say I'd eat there ... again. Read more
