McDonald’s - Vancouver, British Columbia

I recently visited the McDonald's at Robson and Bidwell Street in Vancouver, and the experience was extremely disappointing. It's no wonder this location has a low rating of 3.4 stars. The staff here clearly lack proper training and coordination when it comes to handling orders. Regardless of the time of ... day, my orders consistently sit on the counter getting cold while the staff either focus on making coffee or seem to forget about the deep fryer. This lack of synchronization is unacceptable. They need to manage their tasks better to ensure that food is served hot and fresh. During my visit, the person in the kitchen had already started preparing my sandwich. However, when I asked another staff member why they started making coffee only after my sandwich was ready, she told me it was because she was washing pots. This excuse is simply not good enough. Proper training and task management are essential to running a fast-food restaurant efficiently. Until this location improves its service and staff training, I can't recommend eating here. They gave us the small size of the chocolate milkshake when we ordered the snack size. It was not a shake at all; it was a smoothie. That was very disappointing when they said it was 'Triple Thick' (it was not even thick). P.S. In the past, the ... milkshake from McDonald's used to be so thick that they gave you a spoon with it. Horrible experience, never ordering again. Didn’t get a refund and didn’t even get the food. I have ordered from McDonald’s multiple times to get this horrible service. I stayed on call for over an hour and got no response. I was told they “understand” and “respect” what I’m saying but ... did nothing about it. So they just lost a customer, and I will NEVER get McDonald’s again or use DoorDash again. Horrible POLICY and SERVICE, don’t recommend ordering. I was visiting Vancouver for the weekend and I just got back from a concert. Ordered McDonald’s and it wrecked my night. I wish there was an option for 0 stars…I would definitely do that. Read more

We ordered one of the hamburgers but as you may see in the photo the quality of the meal was so baaaddd. They did not even put a good piece of onion! I used to have McDonald in other countries but it wasn't like this and they are so popular ... but I was shocked when I ordered it here in Vancouver, in one of the best locations of the city. I have to say, this franchise is in downtown Vancouver but the inside is pretty clean. I have seen the bad and the worse but they have done a pretty good job keeping the interior maintained. There is also working AC inside so it is comfortable to sit and enjoy a ... meal. Read more
