Flying Wedge Pizza Co. - Vancouver, British Columbia

I am giving three stars because the last time I ate here it was good, but the last three times I have been by it has been closed at least an hour past its stated opening time. One time it WAS open but there where no pizzas on the warming ... counter and nobody there, even though I could see the pizza making station was littered with scattered ingredients. Best pizza I’ve had since Italy 2 yrs ago. Tuscan garden, full of dried tomatoes, olives, cheese…..Love the flax in thin crust and asked for extra tomato sauce. It was delicious and comforting. Beautiful and flavourful. Real cheese that pulls as seen in picture.

Fantastic pizza joint in the area. Pizzas are delicious and not greasy. If you eat in they will reheat the pizza for you in the oven, which is nice. Prices are decent, you get what you paid for. Also, they include a free dip even for a slice of pizza! ... Parking is okay as it's right at the busy part of Cambie village. If you're tired of the usual big pizza chains then definitely give this place a try. Read more

Not sure what this place Is missing.. They make damn good pizza. They use better ingredients than most. The crust is different and good. If you ever think about how far standard pizza is from the Canadian food guide, But love pizza, this place is your jam. It's well made, has creative ingredients and I ... think it's worth the extra bucks. I thought they'd have expanded farther by now.. The dipping sauce is what confuses me and my friends most though. Flying Wedge is a very specific type of pizza, the crust has a sweetness to it you don't get with other locations. Their pizza types also are totally original, nonstandard. That said, I find the pizza to be a little more expensive than I'd like, as although the flavours are good, they ... don't blow me away.
