My partner and I have been ordering pizza from this place for many years. I agree the price is a bit more than average, but the quality and taste justify it (at least for some of the flavours) Also, they offer vegan cheese and they always confirm if there is another substitution. Unfortunately ... my last 2 experiences with my vegan pizza were not super great. One came mushy and oily, the other one came oily, mushy and with a gluten free crust... that I never asked. Delivery is about 40 to 50 minutes, but as far as I know most places have the same ETA during the weekend. Anyway, staff is friendly and helpful, but got disappointed with the quality of the vegan pizza. Read more
Terrible service. Walked in to get some pizza, called some friends to ask what pizza they wanted. When I asked the worker if I could get two medium pizzas, she said the wait would be 20 minutes. Admittedly that makes sense, but I didn't want to wait that long so I ... asked if I could just order a bunch of individual slices. She said no, and that I should have just ordered the medium pizzas when I walked in instead of making the calls and "wasting her time". Needless to say, I turned around and walked out the door. Kits beach needs more pizza places nearby. Read more
I would not give any stars but it appears I can't post without giving at least one star. I've lived in the neighbourhood for 15 years and this used to be a good place for a quick slice. I had noticed a change in management a few years back and have ... only been a couple of times since then - last week I grabbed a couple of slices and my experience was so horrible and my interaction with the woman working there so shocking, I will never go back. They had a promotion where you got $1 off the second slice, when the total tally seemed high, I asked about the $1 off. She pretended she didn't know what I was talking about, then told me it was taxes (I'm sorry but 5% GST on 2 slices should be less than 50 cents not over $1), then when I said that can't be right, she said she took off the $1 already (which she hadn't), then she begrudgingly said she was giving me an additional dollar off (it wasn't an additional dollar but the dollar she was suppose to take off initially). Then when she was boxing the pizza, she pointed out at the size of the slices, saying they were huge (all the slices are pre sliced) and rudely accused me of making a big deal because of a dollar. I was insulted. I responded that all I was doing was asking for the promotion discount that they are advertising. I will gladly bring my business elsewhere - neither this lack of integrity nor terrible customer service is welcome in any business in our neighbourhood. Read more
Waited 50 minutes for two large pizzas, the staff (probably the owner?) Forgot our order. When we informed them of this, he offered us 8 slices without an apology. We paid $44 for two larges... 8 wedges at $4.19.... do the math... buyer beware. Complete lack of customer service.
Went there all the time in the early 2000s when they had their All You Could Eat Special on Sundays and found their Pizzas were so Good that they are only 2nd to the Legendary Me&Eds Pizza. Went there last in 2014 when giving a Ladyfriend a Tour of Vancouver and ... it was still pretty good. But looking over more recent Reviews, looks like things have gone downhill with them lately.
