I ordered a veggie bowl from Chipotle, but was given a burrito filled with beef. When they finally provided the bowl, it was missing the veggies and sauces. This careless and reckless service is unacceptable. As a lifelong vegetarian, this experience was not just a mistake but a severe violation ... of my dietary and religious principles. I am appalled by this disregard and am considering legal action for the distress and harm caused by this incident. Food is good as it is in almost every Chipotle. Service is pathetic, either the staff is trained to not provide adequate quantity like every other Chipotle does or they want to save some for themselves. I've ordered from this specific location twice so far. The first time my coworkers and I all ordered extra ingredients on the website but when we picked it up, we realized they probably did not give any of us anything extra. My second visit today, it looks like they remedied this ... situation based on the portion I was given (note: I did not order any extra ingredients today). It seems to always be a hit or miss, today it was incredibly salty and the only reason for my visit today was to redeem my free guacamole. I would strongly recommend walking a tad bit further to the Vancouver Public Library and ordering at that location. I placed my order online for pick up for 11:30AM and it was ready at 11:40AM. I imagine they were somehow understaffed as the staff member who was preparing online order was giving the relief member a hard time (asked the relief worker to change and fill in forms before even setting foot into the kitchen) during a (somewhat) busy afternoon. Chipotle is me and my co worker’s go to spot for lunch. Recently we wanted to grab catering and the phone line representative was not helpful and so I went to our local Chiplote to make an in-person order. Manpreet the manager was super accommodating when we had a last minute catering ... request and made it happen and my team was so happy. The food is excellent. The service is appalling. The cleanliness is ATROCIOUS, I am not sure how the health authorities allow this business to serve food when garbage is everywhere and NO ONE is taking the time to clean or SANITIZE the tables and the serving area. In my last ... visit I asked the manager to please clean one of the tables, her answer was "we don't have time to do that". Used food and beverage items from previous customers are left on tables and the new customer suppose to clean and remove the abandoned cutlery, napkins and other utensils used previously....INCREDIBLE!! I am contacting the City of Vancouver to ask them to inspect this establishment. If they don't clean the tables, remove the garbage from the floor or sanitize I wonder what's behind the counter.
