Service was quick even though quite busy. Food was fresh. Liked yams fries better than regular. Lady saw us standing and cleaned a table for us to sit. Enjoyed national root beer day.

Best a&w we've ever been to in our life. Service, food and friendliness is stellar! It felt more like a restaurant setting where everyone was super nice and they even served the food at our table. We have a good experience every time we visit the Champlain A&W! Their onion rings are simply the best. We’ve been to several other A&Ws in the lower mainland but we find ourselves returning to this one. The onion rings coating is crispy and yet onion is cooked just right, ... not soggy. They’re even better than ones we’ve had at higher end casual dining restaurants. If you are eating in, after you order and pay, they will bring the food to you. The root beer is served in a cold mug, the onion rings in a wire basket and the teen burger has a great taste. It tastes so good! And they don’t just clear the tables, they wipe them off.
