The Roxy Night Club - Vancouver, British Columbia

This place is five stars for live local music before 10pm. It was a big age range (19+ to much older) and relaxed and spacious at those times when I went. For after 10pm, some people describe it as "a bar you go for sticky floors and sticky people" - known ... in Vancouver for a place for picking up one night stands. Also good for raucous friends who are into that kind of venue and time even if you aren't :) Stay safe if you're doing the post-10pm thing. Their securities are just a statuses. Doesn't react if someone behaves very badly to us. Sorry to say but you need to main your service if you want more customer. There are many disco and pubs in the downtown. Seriously, if you don't care that ... someone can harm you, please feel free to visit. Extremely very bad experience. Been there last Saturday. The band was amazing, super good music. Had a great time, this place is truly amazing. Would have put 5 if there was less guys harassing us! We couldn’t properly dance the whole time as there was always awkward behaving guys around us. Having to bring guys ... for safety should not be a norm. I understand that it was a Saturday night, but I feel that bouncers should be more aware and filter at the entry! Read more

Experienced peak racism and classism by one of the security guards while entering the club. But, once I got in by somehow convincing the other bouncer, it was a great experience. A great band, Good crowd, and not too expensive.

Was my first time here. What an epic night the amazing Darby Mills and The DMP Project rocking the house. Along with Trigger Mafia. Hoping DMP comes back again !!
