The best beers- friendly staff! Took some of the pineapple paradise home to go, such summer fun.

Best Stouts ever, so far. The Vanilla Whiskey and the Black Plague. Those will be very difficult to beat up. I really want to come up for a visit.

Storm Brewing is the beer-lovers paradise which must not be slept upon. It's a historically important brewery which can be rightfully considered the launchpad of craft brewing in the Pacific Northwest. You're not going to find a "normal" pale-ale or a lager here because you're not supposed to find a ... normal pale-ale or a lager here, Storm Brewing is all about getting your senses exfoliated with beers that shouldn't make sense, but somehow do. Located in one of the most industrial areas of the city, you're surrounded by similar looking buildings, if you didn't pay close attention to your surroundings, you'll definitely miss this location. However, once you spot the graffiti and walk through the rickety warehouse slat door, you'll instantly be hit with a waft of fresh-funk coming from the brewmasters paraphernalia. This isn't your normal brewery that tries to hide any sense of production; here you'll find yourself taking in a coordinated mess of a production floor that is designed to make beer, not look pretty. This isn't to say the establishment is unclean in any way, it absolutely is, but this is a workshop that is meant to be worked in, not to look as though its protected by glass and shiny floors like a majority of the breweries surrounding it. You'll have many rotating options of beers to pick from, you can grab a sample glass and be able to try a whole host of beers they are currently offering. If you prefer to grab a large helping, you can get your growlers filled here as well. Id like to be able to tell you what beers they have on tap, but that would be impossible as it seems as though the beers change at the blink of an eye, its incredible how quickly they come up with new flavours to enjoy. They do however have a selection of beers that never change known as "mainstays." Each of them are excellent. If you are new to the area, or been here all your life and want to try something new that is actually something new, you must visit Storm and prepare to have your gastronomical convictions challenged, twisted and rejuvenated. Very interesting brewery. Definitely some of the strangest flavor combinations I’ve seen in beer. Of all the beer I tried they were all decent, which the pizza Pilsner was spot on to pizza in a beer. Friendly Staff. Fast Service. Good Prices. A unique purchasing process, which comes from Canadian ... laws supposedly. Overall a brewery everyone should check out at least once. Read more

Love this brewery. I go out of my way to visit here whenever I can. I love beer with fruit, and if you do too, don’t miss Storm. An eclectic brewery that you are right in the middle of while tasting brews.
