I generally have had a good experience here but I most recently went for my friends birthday and the bartender (Vanessa) was amazing!! She was genuinely friendly and just overall great. I was in Vancouver for a work trip and went to Republic with some friends, it was a busy night and the music was on point! If you love hip hop, this is the spot for you. Everyone was dancing and having a good time. The service was great and ... all the bartenders were nice and attractive. But, Vanessa, she was the bartender in the small bar and she was an absolute gem! She is beautiful inside and out. She is super friendly and very efficient at her job. It was only her behind that bar, she was quick with the drinks, while maintaining outstanding service to everyone. Somehow managed to keep conversation with us and check up on us even when she was busy. She even offered to put us on her guest list the next time we come in! Every bar and nightclub needs a Vanessa. 10/10 recommend Republic for your night out but make sure you ask for her! Read more

Nice club, 2 floors, 3 bars and nice music, cash only for cover, however the Security people are not professional they asked for money to let you in and pass the line
