Love the space. Not too busy when we went at around 9pm which is the atmosphere I like-- quiet and clean on a Saturday night. Prices are a little pricier than other places but both the drink and dessert selection was good/unique. I got the matcha tea latte with Pearl's ... and it tasted good/decent. My friend got the taiyaki and it looked humongous, so I was impressed. Wouldnt mind going back if I was in the area. Read more
720 provide very unique flavor ice cream with a twist. They have a Vita Soy Milk flavor soft serve for a limited time and the Soy milk flavor was very yummy! You can taste the soymilk and they put dry ice which makes the ice cream very "IG" worthy as well. The ... also have a Taiyaki stuffed with ice cream and offer other creative flavors to try. Wasn’t impressed with it. The ice cream was alright, nothing special and the nitrogen aspect makes no difference from regular soft serve other than it looks a bit cooler. They didn’t have many options for ice cream, though they had more drink options, and it was a bit pricey for ... the amount of ice cream there is in the cup. Staff seemed quiet but not unfriendly. There is street parking which is sometimes hard to get a spot in the block or so in front of the store; when I go to places in this block I normally have to park a few blocks away. Inside the store was alright, they had 4 tables in the top part for seating and possibly (though I didn’t go over to check) another table or two on the lower part towards the washrooms. First time at 720, not a good first impression. My order was Green Milk Tea with pearls. They left the tea bag inside and was super bitter. Is this normal? I worked at a bubble tea shop for 3 years and 20+ as enthusiast, never seen any tea bag ... left inside a bubble tea! Didn't find out until home, too late to complain now. My wife's Matcha Green Tea was fine. They used fresh milk which was a little light on the taste, but overall semi-tasty. Probly won't visit again soon. Read more
