We have been customers for many years. The sandwiches are amazing but we are going back year after year for the best the Shakshuka Ever. I tried in many others restaurants and nothing comes close. This is NOT the 2 eggs drowning in tomato sauce I had everywhere else. Ramy ... makes his own tomato, peppers and oignon based ratatouille, fragrant with spices and served with crispy gratted potato patty and buttered toasts. Even the eggs are organic! Excellent sandwiches and soups, friendly staff and pleasant ambience. I always go there when I’m in the neighborhood. Never been disappointed.

After reading a few “best sandwich in town” reviews, I was really looking forward to trying this place. Let’s just say…I wish I’d stopped just about anywhere else. The sandwich was okay - this thinly sliced save on foods sour dough - and barely enough cheese or spread to taste. ... Let’s just say that when I think of a deli sandwich I think nice thick bread, copious amounts of fresh cheese, a luxurious amount of toppings, etc. If that’s what you think of also, save yourself the time, $$, and disappointment. Best sandwich I've had in Vancouver!! The quality of ingredients and the giant size of the sandwich are exceptional. At first I thought it was very expensive, until my sandwich came out and I dug in. Looking forward to becoming a regular and trying out all of the menu items!

I stopped in and had a Lauren's sandwich for lunch and it was great! The sourdough bread was really good, the veggies were fresh and crunchy, and the feta spread and black bean hummus that tied it together were delicious! It was just one guy working when I ordered (I ... think it was around 10:30, so not long after they opened), and he made the sandwich to order while also answering a bunch of phone calls, so it was a little bit of a wait, but reasonable for fresh food, and the sandwich looked like it was put together very carefully.
