Walked by this place on our way back to our hotel and it looked really cool from the outside. The kind of place you go to with colleagues after work for a fancy drink and a pizza. The pizza was delicious! The Caesar salad and dessert were ok. But the most ... entertaining part of the night for me was our table location. This place has been in business for 9 years (they are giving customers 10% off their meal in June to celebrate), and yet there is at least a row of tables that are greatly affected by the sun beaming in as it sets. We ordered dessert just to see how many tables we could use that night, in our endless pursuit of avoiding the sun. The answer was 3. We moved down the row of tables as the sunbeams relentlessly followed. Cute social corner with a great atmosphere. Our waiter was super kind and welcoming. Food was good and had decent proportions. They have a cute little ketchup bottle for your fries! Is a little bit on the pricier side but nothing crazy. Gnocchi was my favourite!

I can’t say enough how much did I fell in love with Social Per Se. The drink? 5 stars, the food? Omg I felt we are in Spain with their fantastic Paella, their pizza was such a wow makes feeling in middle of Roma. The service was just spectacular. Wanted to grab a burger and many online recommendations pointed us to per se Social Corner. I was definitely pleased with the choice. Juicy even when ordered medium well. We also munched on a mushroom (funge) pizza which was excellent (threw some arugula on top). The menu ... is extensive with several tapas and entrees including a couple of paella's. Been wanting to try Social Corner for some time now. And on the impulse decided to pop in for Easter 🐣 brunch. On arrival the manager Shaunne was brilliant! Incredible personality and communication. Our server was decent but seemed she had too many tables to handle as I had to ... chase her down to get her attention for some food order changes. Food took very long and the table next to us that came in 10min after us got their food before us. Place was busy and vibe is great. Menu has lots of great choices. The burger 🍔 is supposed to be spectacular! So I decided to try the brunch burger and to top it off it’s the only spot in Vancouver where you can order your burger the way you want it and that’s brilliant as most of Canada paranoid and afraid to eat a little rare ground meat. I always had to go to states to get a rare burger. So that’s a big win for me. Flavour was not as exciting as I had hoped and the blend of meats were tasty. Was not crazy about the caramelized onions, firstly they were cold and then over cooked imo. Always love an egg on a burger. Other meals looked good and the pizza 🍕 seemed to fall apart too easy.
