Hidden gem! One of my go-to’s for comfort family style northern Chinese food. Handmade noodles are fantastic. I have been coming here on a routine basis for several years and love their food and authentic flavours. Their liang-pi (cold shredded chicken sesame glass noodles, or something like that) is hands down ... BEST in the city. Some of my other favs: black pepper beef noodles, stirfy lamb noodles, beef soup noodles, chili wontons, stir fry green beans. The lamb stir fry was good, the noodle have really good texture but flavour is a bit lacking. Nothing soy sauce couldn’t fix though. XLB is okay, I’ve had better. And my sisters really like the pan fried dumpling. A bit doughy for me though. Just a very casual place with home ... cooked taste. Read more

We love this spot. The food is always fresh and exceptional. No ambiance, no frills. Just amazing food every time. Fresh noodles made in house. You must try this gem!!

This place knocks it out of the park. Everything we tried was flavourful and well balanced, and perfectly cooked. Incredible dan dan noodles, amazing beef roll, and the wontons in chili oil were incredible. The wontons weren’t too soggy, the noodle were cooked perfectly, and the beef roll was crispy and ... well filled. Got full and still wanted to keep eating cause it was that good, and the portions are nice and big Service was amazing, super nice lady waiting the tables was friendly and personable and helpful. Yummy beef rolls. It could be perfect if they are sizzling hot. Sour spicy noodles are a bit overcooked. And i prefer more vinegar. The pork dumplings are not looking good but tastes okay. Again, I like to dip it with vinegar and soya sauce. Good services! Big portions!
