I like going here with my family. I went here a lot growing up and the owner is very nice. It’s also fun for kids to watch them make the dumplings as they have a window where you can see them make it! The only disadvantage is trying to find ... parking in the area. I ordered Peking Duck and I was given raw cabbage dumped in a plastic bag! The restaurant has no sense of food safety and I am grossed out. I have reported them to Vancouver Coastal Health.

Don't expect anything crazy but it's solid Chinese food that does the job. Surprisingly, the XLBs had a good amount of soup inside. They have a great lunch combo menu. Highly recommend calling ahead to order takeout in advance instead of ordering on the spot since they're always super busy ... around lunch. The only thing is—they're so busy that it often takes awhile to get someone's attention for help, regardless of if you're eating in or just paying for a pick up. FRIENDLY! DELICIOUS! FRESH! Today was my first visit to Lin’s! I was recommended to go by my dad who works down the street, and it did not disappoint! The restaurant was not too busy, the service was fast, the food was delicious and everyone who works there was very talkative, smiley ... and caring. The waitress who came over to take our order was so incredibly cheerful and happy, like she was happy we came to eat at their restaurant! At the end, one of the waitresses came over and spent time talking with me about what I was doing in university and about the volunteer work I did and my goals for a career - I thought that was a very sweet thing that she took time to come chat. The food we had was outstanding! It was piping hot, very crisp, clean flavor and fresh - beyond delicious! The portions were very generous, and the price was perfectly on point for the quantity and quality of the food. I leave most restaurants feeling disappointed these days about the quality and quantity of food for the price, but that was not the case at Lin’s! IT HIT THE SPOT! My friends and I will definitely be back, and I definitely plan to come here with my family. Whether you want to have a special occasion meal or you just want a bite of lunch, this place is absolutely fantastic! Look forward to visiting again and trying more wonderful dishes! Lin has always been amazing for the past decade. Reasonable pricing, super friendly staff and well cooked cuisine. I would personally rate their rice cooking skill and quality as #1 in Vancouver / Richmond restaurants.
