Bubble Waffle Cafe - Vancouver, British Columbia

The quality of food is becoming worse and worse. I ordered a noodle combo with side of the beef and vegetables. There is literally one of piece of the vegetable and few slices of beef in the bowl and the amount of the noodle is very little… Very disappointed and ... will not come back again. Combo: laksa soup, rice noodle with beef and watercress, bubble waffle, milk tea. Additional note: the soup is SUPER salty and I had to add large amount of water so I can eat it. There is only one piece of watercress which is very dry and not fresh, which seems like a leftover. We tried the Beef Teppanyaki, Indonesian Fried Noodles, HK tea cold drinks and some bubble waffles. Beef is chewy but nicely seasoned. Fried noodles comes with chicken sausage and hams. First time to try Bubble Waffle Cafe the other day! Took me quite a while to figure out how to order (on top of not knowing what to order lol) but I eventually got their chicken based soup with udon. The soup was nice and hearty. I also ordered their ... Hong Kong style milktea and it was good!! This location of Bubble Waffle Cafe is tucked away in the back corner of a mini mall on 49th. The interior isn't much to look at and seems rather tired. We tried a bubble waffle, homemade squid, and a bowl of laksa. The homemade squid had a sweet soy type sauce ... but was rather chewy. Laksa was ok (does the job when you're hungry). Really more of a place to go to when you're just looking for convenience. Read more
