Very disappointed. We buy their frozen patties in bags of 12 at a small local market and have done so for years. We loved these patties, the filling was so flavorful (we always got the chicken ones), and the pastry was always flaky and delicious. We just bought another bag ... and something has definitely changed. The filling consistency is completely different and the chicken now feels like ground chicken rather than actual flaked chicken meat for lack of better words, there were big chunks of potato and some were not completely cooked, the seasoning was flat, and they were overall quite tasteless. The once beautiful pastry was still flaky, but unpleasantly dry. This happened in the bag we bought before this one and thought it might have been just a one off, but obviously they have changed something, be it recipes, owner, ingredients , but we will not be buying anymore sadly. Pretty disappointed as I expected so much more from all the positive reviews. The patties were smaller than they should be, weren’t cooked evenly and lacked a crispy, flaky texture, and felt like it was missing the proper seasonings. While the chicken patty did taste much better, the veggie one fell ... short in flavour. The veggie patty was cooked worse so that might’ve been why. The service was also pretty lackluster as both cashiers had trouble understanding me and got my order wrong multiple times. Read more

This tiny takeout shop sells delicious "JAMAICAN PATTIES". The staff are always smiling, cost super reasonable. So drop by to pick up to eat immediately, plus take home some for others or your freezer!

These are the best Pattie’s !!! Very flavourful and fresh. It can get busy and it’s cash only. You can also get them frozen, and they have variety of different patties.

Got two patties, chicken and hot beef. The portions were good, and a moderate amount of filling in each patty. The pastry was flaky, so I'm glad I ate outside rather than in my car. Hot is a mild hot. Chicken was dominated by the earthiness of tumeric. Overall would ... have enjoyed more flavor in the filling. Cash or Debit only. Read more
