Not authentic Caribbean dishes - perhaps Caribbean-Latin fusion. I was truly disappointed by the quality of food and lack of flavours here. It was located in one of the sketchiest part of East Vancouver too, so I opted for take-out as opposed to dining in.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR CARRIBEAN FOOD. this place does not serve Jamacian or any island food. They are just a restaurant with horrible mixed drinks that are apparently island inspired. The jamacian beef patty, is white. When has anyone ever had a patty with huge chunks of Carrot or celery in ... it. If you don't know how to make the food, just say so. Don't advertise your food as something that it's not. YOUR DOING A DISSERVICE TO THE CULTURE AND THE FOOD FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN THERE. The jerk chicken needed to be sent back. That chicken never seen jerk in its life. That my friends was stew chicken. Why is jerk swimming in brow sauce and why is it pale looking without the sauce.... The muscles were interesting and not worth the money. If you want to go dancing, great. The dj was very very good. But DO NOT GO FOR FOOD. The food is not carribean!!! Omg, the food is so good here. Authentic Carribean food and very tasty cocktails.

Alright I’m writing this while I’m still in the restaurant so this is a honest opinion. First time coming here and to be honest I’m not disappointed. 3 appys and 3 cocktail for 150 (including tip) is worth every penny. Had the wings, mussels and pork belly. ... The wings and mussels I would definitely recommend, taste really good. Only recommendation I would say for the mussels, I would plate it in a bigger bowl to see all the sauce with it. The pork belly is really salty for my taste and sad to say the manager didn’t do a thing about it. I would never have the pork belly ever again but I would recommend this place to my friends for sure. Read more

The area feels unsafe. The atmosphere in the place was great. The service was ok. The style of food served here is not to my taste so I can't say about it. I ordered fries and it was a bit spicy for me. They charged 20% tip on the bill. ... After we finished our food we wanted to go down to the basement floor to dance. They told us that because we shared dishes and didn't ordered in enough money they want us to pay each one of us 5$ to go dancing. We didn't like it and decided to quit. Read more
