Propaganda Coffee - Vancouver, British Columbia

Long weekend Sunday afternoon, all the tables are taken, and there's continuous stream of people walking in. Two people were on shift. The order desk person was friendly. We ordered our usual favourites – oat milk lattes. I ordered extra hot, that forgot to mentioned that both drinks were ... supposed to be extra hot. My drink was in a mug, while my partner's drink came in a water glass which is an absolute disgusting way to have a hot expresso latte. First sip was a bit on the strong side, tempting me to add sweetener which I will not. I got used to the taste and finished my drink without honey. The place was quite noisy and we couldn't really hear each other. I dislike the cold metal chairs which makes a jarring noise on the floor. Afterwards in the car, we both noted that we have an unpleasant sour taste in our mouth which is something we don't appreciate. We concluded that the espresso did not meet our standard. Read more

Loved it, strong coffee with a great peaceful place to sit and work or have a conversation. Clean, minimalist, great service. I had a hazelnut latte, a cocoa butter matcha cookie, and the elderflower iced tea. The coffee was perfect, strong beans with perfectly textured milk, one of the best coffees in ... the city. The cookie had a really unique flavor but was as soft as I could hope, super fresh and very tasty. I hoped the iced tea had a stronger flavor but we were still happy with it. Highly recommended. Located right in the middle of Chinatown, the cafe is clean, open, and airy. Their coffee was decent but very light. Cornflake cookie was really good. Service was….. adequate.

I recently had an incredible experience at Propaganda Bistro in Saigon.
