Nice staff at the time of visit. Very clean space. Good amount of tables with access to plugs to work. Not busy and limited background noise. Extensive coffee menu with infinite options yet more expensive than average. Pizza and panini offerings. Ice cream available too.

Nice decor, clean and bright. A good, quite place to sit and read or get some work done. But the drip coffee is a very mediocre dark roast blend, and they do not serve pour overs, so there is nothing for the speciality coffee drinker.

Sadly, I have to update my review. When this place first opened, they came with such life and zest, offering samples to local businesses and showing genuine gratitude for patronage. I boasted and promoted the vegan menu offerings to anyone who asked and was always pleased to ... visit. This all changed when the head cook/baker extraordinaire left. Whether it was a difference of opinion with the owners or a personal choice, his untimely exit left a serious hole in selection, quality and somehow service. I have had the wrong drink made for me once, and I have had a seriously diluted hot beverage served to me on a second occasion. Where there were once vegan cheesecakes, there are now stale muffins. I really do hope this place turns it around, this diamond in the rough is starting to look more and more like your run-of-the-mill cafe. Read more

Slightly pricier than my usual places but I gotta say, everything was beautifully presented and gosh-darn delicious. The interior was clean and modern and the corner spot on the north side of the street made for a very sunny and cheerful experience. Clean, modern, more of a commitment to quality food and coffee than most of the generic, tasteless cafes that have flooded Vancouver. I really enjoy the Ethiopian Yirgechaffe beans they use for espresso. They aren't over roasted like you find in most cafes.
