The food was very good ... not too salty, which I find at a lot of restaurants. I had a 🐔 cottage pie, which came out fresh and hot. It was a bit of a wait though so the manager brought out some complementary cupcakes. And he polished my ... knife too. Very thoughtful. The cupcakes were not too sweet, so we could appreciate the mango and cappuccino flavours. Read more
One of the staff have me a dirty look when I asked a question about the flavour of the truffles (which were excellent). They asked my name when I ordered my latte. When I came back and told them that I had not received my latte the same one said, ... "it's been on the bar waiting for you for five minutes"... Food was decent to good. Read more
PROS: The building is quite lovely. There was a pianist in the lobby, lots of comfortable looking seating. The desserts and food all looked quite lovely. 10$ for a sandwich and salad isn't at all a bad deal. And the salad bar looks great! CONS: The lineup area is kind of confusing. Not sure where ... to stand to order. It's also pretty crowded. The sandwich was OK. Nothing out of this world. The salad too. Overall, nothing mindblowing but not the worst option for lunch. I really enjoyed visiting Nosh for a few reasons. The options available for sweets/desserts were amazing and had a hard time choosing what to eat since it all looked delicious. The second big reason was that the individuals working there recommended certain drinks that would pair great with the dessert ... you chose, which was interesting. Definitely going back again. The sitting area is very nice but little noisy as sometimes you can’t really be able to chat peacefully Sometimes you find somebody playing on the piano there which I really don’t prefer as the volume of the sound is so high and you can’t ... hear the person beside you.
