Crackle Crème - Vancouver, British Columbia

This is a neat place for dessert treats like Creme Brûlee, macarons (hand-painted each one), waffles, and expresso! Tucked away at the edge of Chinatown on Union Street. I like sitting outside people watching while enjoying my evening expresso. Thank goodness they open till 9:30pm.

So cute and so yummy! I didn’t get to have a drink this time around, but their crème brûlée was amazing! We had the black sesame and the vanilla bean flavours and the salted caramel and hazelnut flavours for the macarons. They are so cute and there is so much ... detail put into them! Keep in mind that only the macarons on the staircase-like/bleacher-like display are the ones that are available! The ones that are piled flat require 1-2 weeks preordering. This is such a cute spot!! I visited yesterday to have a little snack and read my book on a nice day. There aren’t too many seats but most people seem to get their drinks and food for takeout. Both employees behind the counter were very kind and helpful, the ... girl was asking me about my book. I ordered the salted caramel crème brûlée, pikachu macaron, and thai jasmine iced tea. I drove from Bellingham to try these and they were more than I even imagined! Deliciously detailed, these macarons pack a flavor filled punch that I cannot wait to enjoy again! The service was incredible, as all my curious questions were answered with a smile and delightful engagement. This place ... and the owners are truly a treasure! Such a cute, small and cozy cafe!! They sell home made macaroons. Aside from the cute looks, they also taste great! It's crunchy on the outside but chewy on the inside. They had a lot of flavors to try to. It can make a cute gift for your loved ones.
