Caffe Artigiano - Vancouver, British Columbia

Compared to other cafe on Main Street, this Artigiano is spacious, quiet and have lots of table& power outlets. My boyfriend and I really enjoy studying & working here. Their coffee is great, and I have tried their croissant and pies, they don’t disappoint at all.

I'm a fan of this café chain. While it's typically known for its small and cozy atmospheres, this particular location is quite spacious! Although, I do wish it retained a bit more coziness, especially when it's empty it can feel a bit cold at times.

The coffee shops south of King Edward were all busy today, full of people that looked like they've been there forever, working on their laptops and no fresh drinks on the table. That means we get to try Artigiano. Not sure when this place expanded, but they now have three ... retail units which gives them a restaurant-size sitting area. What caught my eyes was a pile-high apple pie that is apparently from Pie Hole. So, this place carries frozen pies from Pie Hole to go. They also sell pies by the slice. Naturally, I couldn't resist and ordered a piece of apple pie. Our espresso drinks were well made enough. Unlike the other coffee shops south of King Edward, this place is not quite. The din of conversation and general buzz was quite high. My pie was disappointing, it tasted like it was heated in a micro wave and so the crust ended up being quite soggy – where as, the Pie Hole that we were familiar with would have heated the pie in a real oven. We didn't really hang around too long because of the level of noise and also the fact that the tables were quite close together. I guess holiday Mondays is not a good time to visit South Main coffee shops! Five stars for the coffee drinks, 1 star for how the pie was treated, 1 star for general ambience. Read more

Good Cafe. Met a few friends for Coffee at this Cafe today. Cappuccino and Croissant were good. There are a lot options for quick bites. This Cafe has good seating capacity. Great place to meet friends. Food: 7 Service: 8 Ambience: 9 Price: $ Experience: 8
