I always enjoy this place. For the location The place lacks arrogance and doesn't have a superiority complex. The staff are consistently kind, friendly and respectful. The coffee and food are always enjoyable and the sweets are not too sweet. Even the music creates an energy that makes you feel ... like you are on vacation. On top of that the atmosphere feels relaxing and uplifting. If you get a chance to be there when it's not busy it is extra special having the place to yourself. Highly recommended. Read more

Arbutus is the cutest little cafe in kits! It’s the warmest place to go on a cold day and their matcha latte is pretty good! The staff there are so incredibly nice and welcoming and helped me out for suggestions from the menu. I had the mixed berry muffin and ... Brie sandwich. For the second week in a row, I've dropped by this coffee shop to grab a latte to-go before my kids' weekend soccer games, and I've consistently been impressed by the coffee's quality. My son and his friend indulged in some Banana bread right after the soccer game, and they both ... thoroughly enjoyed it. 😁 While I didn't have the time to stay and savor the ambiance, I must say I'm quite taken with the unique decor of this coffee shop. Save yourself the time and go somewhere that actually puts effort into their food. I noticed as i looked around multiple Kirkland labels, and while there is nothing wrong with Costco i do have an issue with paying a premium for something i could have easily made my self. My breakfast bagel ... was a Costco bagel with the thinnest slice of ham i’ve ever seen in my life. Not worth the price, should be $4. Also the management should allow their staff to drink more coffee or something because they all looked so tired the guy at the cash couldn’t stop rubbing his eyes. Read more
