Went there with my wife for the first time. Things were OK in general, but there were some points that made my visit a bit awkward. We came around 2 pm, the restaurant was quite empty, just 2 other tables, one big group that was leaving and a musician that was ... setting up her stuff. First, the seats outside need to be properly cleaned or replaced. The cushions are a bit dirty. Second, the cleaning product for the tables smells like bleach, but a lot like bleach. Once the server cleaned the table and let us sit, the smell lasted for 20 to 30 min. We ordered 2 starters, 2 drinks, and the main dish straight away. On the menu, the starters had an option to add a dip for .50 cents, we did not ask for the dip, but they came anyway. One other detail, we had two cocktails, and our server offered a double, which we declined. The appetisers came before the drinks, which is fine for a busy day, but not so much on a slow Sunday afternoon. Around 30 min after we came in, another server showed up to help her, and he started cleaning tables and arranging stuff. He came to us and put a sign on the table informing customers of a 6 dollar per person charge for the live music. I'm more than happy to pay and support an artist, but, we came to the restaurant and the singer wasn't playing, we waited about 5 to 10min for our table to be ready and the staff did not mention this charge, and the singer finish her performance before we left (we spent around 1.5 hours there). We finished our drinks, our main came, everything was OK. We asked for salt and pepper and a beer jug, we never got any! Ehehehe So after a few minutes I asked the server that, in case the jug wasn't ready, he could cancel and bring 2 sleeves only. At the end, the bill came on time, the two dips were there and 12 dollar for the live music as well. 6 out of 10 experience. Read more
