Virtuous Pie - Vancouver, British Columbia

We tried the stranger wings and forager pizzas. Both were delicious. I couldn't even tell they were vegan. The crust is an authentic Italian pizza crust which is thin and soft, with a slightly crisp exterior.

Sooo so yummy!!! I'm lactose intolerant and this is a treasure trove of food I can't normally eat! Cheesy garlic knots and Mac and cheese. I'm from Vancouver Island and don't feel safe in Vancouver. Especially Hastings! I'm here to see a band at the Rickshaw Theater. But as soon ... as I walked in, I felt safe for the first time since arriving at the Vancouver City Station. Wonderful atmosphere, music a bit loud but it drowned out others conversations so A+. (No complaints about the music!) Lovely brick walls and black wooden slate as a serving tray. I came here to try the ice cream. It was good, but it wasn't outstanding. I guess due to the fact that it's 100% vegan? However, service was wonderful and prices were pretty reasonable. Would want to go back to try other stuff.

As a lactose intolerant human, this place is a dream come true! Safe for the stomach! Ordered the pepperoni with hot honey and it was very good. Sauce is not too acidic. The pizza here is delicious. The only drawback is that you hardly get any pizza for your money. I think the box weighs more than the pizza it's self. It is super thin with hardly any toppings. Also if you don't eat it right away a few hours later your ... leftovers are hard and not particularly pleasant to eat. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
