This place is growing on me. The coffee is good, my pastry was fresh, limited outdoor seating but there is a bench around the corner and great for people watching. The atmosphere is mimilistic and it works, love the community table and the wooden chairs. Maybe a fresh coat of ... paint around the counter area but I digress 😊 staff are friendly and efficient. I was shopping in this neighbourhood and wanted to have a cup of coffee. I knew there was a new coffee shop around, so I searched on Yelp. I came here and tried a cup of latte. This coffee shop was full of customers (young adults). A couple of customers were ... waiting for seats or their friends or someone. I went into here to buy a cup of latte to go. There was only one barista. He was a middle age Asian gentleman. He smiled and took my order. He basically handled all the service and made coffee for all customers (today Monday). The cup of latte was good or above average. Not too bitter and not too milky. The heart pattern of the latte looked pretty. I didn’t try their pastries though. Very quiet, and great place to work with lots of outlets. Clean and simple decor. Friendly and helpful baristas, and an owner who really cares about the customer experience. Average prices. Quaint little coffee shop on main. They apparently roast their own espresso. Unfortunately, when I asked further info on the beans and roasts, their barista wasn't able to explain much other than medium or dark roast. Regardless the espresso I did try was good and the shop wasn't overly busy. ... Not a bad spot to camp out for a few hours to get some work done in a quieter public place. Read more
