The worst customer service. I purchased coupon from dealuse, but apparently the server did not want to serve us and told we need to make a reservation. Worst customer service. Did not want to do business at all! We purchased a coupon from dealuse for today's use. As we were seated in this emptied restaurant, she slammed the jug of water on the table. We then advised her we have a coupon to use. She disregarded ... our approach and walked off completely. Comes back to tell us we need to make a reservation. The coupon was already paid for and by instructions and policy it did not require any early reservation needed. In chiense, “suggested reservation.” She insisted we were blind. We asked for a refund. She advised we should contact dealuse head office. This lady was rude and disrespectful. No wonder there’s no customers in this restaurant. I would be less upset if she explained it nicely and professionally. I’m surprised this restaurant is still operating as I came here two years ago and they overcharged me with their “cash only” rules. Scallop and oysters were very fresh and price were very reasonable $5.99 and $3.99 each. Beef short ribs $3.99 each, and I like their eggplant the most

Tried the skewers here. They carpet everything in the same heavy seasoning, so besides each meats' different texture, there's not much change in taste to them. I also ordered the eggplant which was covered in tons of garlic and oil. I felt like I was eating the top of a ... garlic bread. I mean, everything was well cooked and nothing was overly burnt. Me and my girlfriend just felt it was pretty boring for our tongues. I'm Taiwanese and she is Persian so I guess this type of food doesn't impress us. This is just my two cents. I will mention the young man who served us was very nice and polite. He made an exception to let us order one chicken feet instead of the typical three which was the rule. Came here looking for a low carb dinner one Sunday night with the wife. It's a typical northern Chinese place that serves barbecued skewers, hot pot and various proteins in chili oil. We typically just order skewers and a side at places like this. Here's what we got: Beef tendon skewers - ... We didn't see just plain beef chunks on the menu so we thought this was it. What came was actually just all tendon! I thought it was well seasoned and pretty good but my wife thought there was a weird chemical taste to it. 3/5 Pork belly skewers - Definitely the highlight here. Super tender, flavorful and generous chunks of pork belly. Most try. 5/5 Lamb skewers - Somewhat bland and a letdown... Weird that they would mess up a staple. 2/5 Chicken knee skewers - Good flavor and generous chunks of chicken meat. 4/5 Tofu skewers - Another star out of nowhere. Excellent seasoning and texture. I don't enjoy tofu in general but this was great. 5/5 Tofu with preserved egg (side dish) - I thought this was too salty and not that good in general. Probably won't order again. 2/5 The final bill came out to just under $30 including tax and tip which I thought was good value. Service was fast and friendly. Free street parking out front. Overall, a pretty good meal with some letdowns but we'll definitely be back. Read more
