2024 update, I added a star! The new owners doing some tweaking, butter chicken was pretty darn good kids, wings are really better, like in the bad old days with bun, nachos good - the small is plenty! bringing in events, live music. Keep up the live ... music, that's fun. Service suits me pretty good. Finding prices to be on the high side comparing other pubs with this vibe so - I'd love to see - better daily / happy hour specials - some fun beers and ciders on tap - dogs on the patio (hey I can walk here!) 2021 update. Pandemic got me desperate. No other pubs nearby. So we are becoming regular enough that the weekend day gal knows what we like. I like that. Food.. I’m picky. I see the nachos look amazing but not my thing. Chicken wings again it is. So I drink, I Keno. I engage in pleasant banter with the locals, and the server, when I can. I like her. She’s good at what she does...bit of a mind reader, friendly enough, and no nonsense. Boy it sure is nice to talk to, well, anybody really. I like the local living room atmosphere. It’s not fancy here but friendly. I wish I liked the food better. Deep fried battered wings - so alone on the plate you don’t even get celery and carrot sticks with them, everything on the menu is kinda brown and deep fried, straight from the freezer bag into the deep fryer is cheap and easy I guess. It's a comfy classic neighbourhood pub vibe, little shabby but clean enough. Meat draws Friday and Saturdays. This could be a good spot if the new management refreshed the menu, and added a couple local craft beers on tap. Til then it’s only good for Keno and a beer. *11/07/2017 spent $69 + tip - haven't returned since...maybe soon. Didn't see response from owner til now, is it under new mgmt? I really wish it would become a great destination...I can walk here... Read more
