We stopped by at Marquis as we saw a promotion of 3 course meal for 20 dollars. We had the most delicious short ribs and pasta. The portions were so big that I'm having the rest for tomorrow. Highly recommend the set-menu. It was Vegetarian/Dairy free-friendly, but also has great fish and other meat options. The place is very cozy and the food was great! The staff is super friendly and attentive. I was having an exhausting day and Diego cheered me up with his great service. Definitely a great place to have a couple of drinks and a snack with your loved ones.

Terrible Experience there last night compels me to write this review. A older grey haired waiter made me and my girl friend completely uncomfortable during our time there. He wasn't even our server. He was staring at my beautiful girlfriend as we ate, and then decided to get bold, and ... told her she looked like a movie star and tried to strike up a conversation with her while we were eating some awful food. - He then SAT HIMSELF AT OUR TABLE UNINVITED asking her inappropriate personal questions. and began yammering all about himself and his music tastes, staring down my girlfriend. - The interaction with this man went on and on for too long and was creepy, and completely inappropriate- this waiter was clearly hitting on my dinner date, who stated she felt completely uncomfortable when we left the place. - The food was also terrible - We ordered the three course meal special, the potato soup tasted like warm glue and butter, I had a clubhouse sandwich, which was 3 pieces of stale toast with some scrap burnt bacon bits in it and half a tomato. Worst I 've ever had, I cant believe they served it to me. I would have sent it back if I were not on a date trying to have a romantic evening. They had limited options for desert and served chocolate cake that was also stale and inedible, as it was like sawdust, and she couldn't take more that a single bite of her key-lime pie, as it tasted off as well. I spent over $100 in there and left hungry and feeling violated, my girlfriend was uncomfortable by the swerve this waiter put on her and also didn't like her food. All I gotta say is great service! If you get the chance of having an older gentleman from Dubai, you are in for a treat! He was funny, courteous, and professional all at the same time. He made our evening. Don't get me wrong, the food ... was good too! We just ordered from the share plates. The Flatbread Tapenade was to die for. You don't see olive dishes on menus much anymore, but this one is a must try. The Barbacoa Street Tacos were very flavorful. The Bar Bratwurst was a meal in itself. The pickled red cabbage was a great addition and the whole grain mustard tasted superb. The Tomato Bisque was nice with a little bit of heat to spice it up. Read more
