The Cove Neighbourhood Pub - Vancouver, British Columbia

Hands down one of the best low key brunch spots on 4th Ave- Fabulous food, friendly fast service, plenty of regulars and daily deals. It’s hard to get brunch for 2 for less than $50 anywhere in the city. This pub delivers with great value for money.

Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. I had their special dinner and it was so delicious. I had a great time drinking with my friends!!

Nice ambience, well located, very friendly staff. We had beer and nachos, pic attached- quantity was pretty good for a group of five. We also tried their red sauce pasta and must say it was surprisingly good for me and I actually don't like red sauce pasta. We also ordered ... prawns and chicken wings ( slightly on the tangy side). Stopped here for a couple drinks and a quick bite on a Sunday afternoon. There were only a few other tables when we were there – one table seemed to be regulars, nice older folks. They have a good selection of beers on rotating taps. I had the Driftwood ESB – ... refreshing! We shared the clubhouse sandwich which was a good sized snack. The sandwich was pretty good (they use real turkey) but needed a tad more seasoning. The maple bacon was really good and the fries were DELICIOUS! Friendly, chill service. I was very pleasantly surprised with this pub! It's all wood and brick but with skylights and two levels, which opens the place up and makes it airy despite the heavy wood interior. There are plenty of tables and booths with screens everywhere for easy sports viewing. They had a ... great selection of beers on tap, including some unusual imports, and a yummy lunch menu. I recommend the jalapeño grits. Grits! In Vancouver! They were softer than the American grits I've had, but delicious all the same. We had a gathering with friends and their kids and we made good use of the few board games they have available. All in all, I heartily recommend this cozy but bright neighborhood pub. Read more
