Opus Bar – Opus Hotel - Vancouver, British Columbia

This Boutique hotel never ceases to amaze me. We've stayed at the Opus before and when planning a return trip this July we remembered how much we loved it and how we were treated so kindly and like family. From my first phone call back in February I spoke with Scott ... who was so warm, welcoming and couldn't of been more accommodating. He even took care of rooms for my son & his wife. After much communication with Scott, upon are arrival we were greeted with a "Big Hug" and a glass of Rose'. After along day of grueling travel we felt all the stress melt away. I love everything about the Opus from the wonderful, Real Human Like Individuals, Scott, Dorothy and the all of the amazing Hotel Staff. The rooms are spotless, a good size, with mini fridge, wetbar and nespresso maker. The Beds were so comfy and the heated bathroom floor -- what an added bonus! They have Ebikes for use, a great little bar with a restaurant connected to it. The location in Yaletown is primo. It's within walking distance to the ferry, sea wall, Stanley Park, great restaurants and bars. There is even an amazing healthy market, Urban Fare, and it's all right at your front door. We had a lovely stay here for three nights. Excellent and courteous service made us feel welcome immediately. The clean and comfortable rooms were a joy to return to each day after exploring the city. The proximity to the sky train station, great restaurants, bars, etc was also so convenient. ... We stayed here for the first week of May, and it was a fantastic experience. Staff were very considerate and attentive - they saw we had cup noodles in our room and kindly provided a boiler without us even asking. Bikes were a huge plus. Hotel was very accessible to ... attractions like Stanley Park, the Seawall and Granville Island, but was in a quieter part of the city so nights were very relaxing. Very comfortable bedding. Great boutique hotel in a great location in Vancouver. We stayed in the king deluxe room and it has a lot of space and amenities. The Dyson hair dryer and nespresso in the room are nice touches. The location is right on Davie, so within 15 minutes you can walk to coal ... harbour, the seawall, Pacific Centre, Robson street and the good part of Davie. There is a restaurant and cocktail bar attached if you don’t feel like venturing too far. We borrowed the e-bikes one morning and went for a trip around to false creek which was great and saved us the rental fees. Staff was friendly (front desk to housekeeping) and I would absolutely stay here again. Not super kid friendly as it lacks a pool or hot tub. Read more
