Prime location. Great staff. Great crowd. Lots of pool tables.. All in good condition. The place could use some TLC as it seems a bit run down. Otherwise, I would def recommend this place if youre looking for a place to have some beers and shoot some stick.
It is a nice place to go and play a few games of pool. The tables are good for the most part but should be worked on sooner than later. As of right now it is the only pool hall in Vancouver. There are other places you can go to ... play pool but because of the crazy real estate rates, it seems no one can afford keep a true pool hall running. So it is this place or places where the pool tables are a second thought and not enough room is given for the tables. Read more
I've been a pool player since I was a kid. I have been to the best of places and the worst. This place goes somewhere in between. Loved the staff, very friendly. The place needs a bit of work. It is a bit run down and the day I came ... in the place was smelling. It was really bad that I had to take my date to another place. Plus I was surprised with the "cash only" sign on the outside. I know having a debit or credit machine is costly, but come on. This is Vancouver, plastic is everything. I would definitely give the place another try. The people who are regulars are very friendly. A lot of very good players and they are willing to help those less schooled. The staff are efficient yet easy-going which is reflective of the ownership. The decor is relatively spartan but, it is a pool hall after all. Great place for people who love to play pool and be around a lot of other people!! This place is never quite, there's always lots of people!! You're not allowed to drink near the tables and selection of cues they have for snooker is really bad!! Overall not a bad ... place to hangout with your buddies! Read more
