Food: Didn't get to try any but plenty of sandwiches, snacks and sharable items available. Service: Friendly. You will have to wave the servers down occasionally when it gets super busy. Atmosphere: Rustic, underground vibe. Being in rustic gas town it suits the area. It's hidden and accessed by a small set of stairs by a ... building. When you go in, it certainly gives you the impression that it's a "secret place". The dark candle lit environment can be cozy/romantic. There selection of live music is also fantastic. It's a great place for dates or for casually hanging out with friends. Live music shows are provided in 45 minute intervals. Each session is $6. They open at 6 pm with peak times starting when the shows begin at 7:00 and 10:00 pm. If you can't make it there at the start, I recommend being there at around 9. People from the 7:00 show will leave and a couple of tables may be available. Read more
Went here for cocktails and jazz music. It was so fun and chill. Loved the dim lighting and the performance. The cover charge was also decent.
This is by far one of the best places for live music in Vancouver, or most of British Columbia. They have live music seven nights a week, and there are two different bands each night. You get charged for every music set that you are in the club for. it ... is a great atmosphere and people are very friendly. There’s a place to dance on the dance floor as well. They have great food, I always like getting the warm olives and garlic bread. They have a full bar with reasonable prices. This is a great place to spend the evening with friends. Be sure to bring your ID, as they card everyone no matter how old you look. Read more
One of the coolest places in Vancouver. I used to play here and hang out years ago when I lived in Vancouver and it hasn't changed at all. Love that they support live music and create a very interesting and chill vibe! Something you would find in New York, Montreal ... or Europe but is sadly unique in Vancouver it seems. My only request is to bring back the longboat chocolate porter if it still exists? In General love this place though! Read more
Guilt & Co was on my list since a very long time, I was finally able to visit today and it did not disappoint at all! This place has a killer vibe! Live music, candle lights, intimate seating and the patched walls won me from the get go. Our server was ... very cordial and kept checking on us timely. The food could be better, we ordered some beers, garlic bread, a seasonal salad, vegan tacos and a teacup cake. The seasonal salad was decent but nothing notably great about it but it was a decent salad overall. The garlic bread was a tad bit dry and I would’ve loved for it to be accompanied with some dip of sorts but it was decent otherwise. The vegan taco however was 5/5 perfect! The flavours in the taco were sensational and I’m definitely ordering this everytime we visit Guilt from now on. Teacup cake was alright, it wasn’t too sweet which I liked but the texture could’ve been better. Overall this place is a must visit for the vibe and music alone and the tacos were just a cherry on the cake! The food was decently priced with good portion sizes, they do add a cover charge of 6$ per person for every set you see perform. Read more
