Goldies Pizza - Vancouver, British Columbia

After a long day of travel, arrived in town to grab late night food. Not only the service was bad, the pizza was just terrible. They ignored to sell us the pizza they had already made, making us order a full large pizza @ 30 something$. Long wait to find ... out the toppings were even hard to see. Having no choice we walked away w an overall unfortunate terrible experience. As a former fan of their other location, won’t be going back! this Is NOT a vegetarian pizza. Read more

Pizzas were good but definitely not worth the price. They serve super thin crust, nice amount of crunch and the toppings were good. But for the largest pizza expect to pay over $30 for 8 slices, each slice really not being all that much food considering how thin the pizza ... crust is. They said the largest pizza was good for 3-4, but I’d say it leans more towards 2-3. Read more

Went to Goldies after a recommendation from a friend for their takeout pizza, but we decided to sit down. The pizza was a 4/5. Good taste, quality ingredients. Service was a 2/5. With only one other table in the restaurant, our pizza took 30 minutes to arrive, and the waitress was busy ... on her cell phone the majority of the time. Our friends food also arrived 5 minutes prior to our pizza, even though the waitress assured us it would be timed together. The atmosphere of the location aesthetically is nice, however the lack of personality and drive from the staff leave me in no rush to come back for a 4/5 pizza. Read more

The pizza was quite good, almost Brazilian style. Thin crust, not too crispy but not too soft either. Just right. They did skimp on the cheese, but the toppings were well-served. However, the wait was absolutely, positively atrocious for the amount of people there. It was not very full, maybe a ... dozen people tops. In spite of this, our pizza took slightly over 45 minutes to come to the table, which is unacceptable. It might have been a fluke, but as of now, don't come here when you're in a hurry. Read more

Wow! What a delicious treat. The hostess/waitress named Ana welcomed us at 11am sharp and sat us at the bar. The service was phenomenal. The cook, Nestor, custom-made a delicious pizza for us which was cooked to perfection. We didn’t want tomato sauce so he prepared it with olive oil. ... The toppings were fresh: artichoke and grilled chicken. We watched a World Cup game on their TV. Ana told us a little about Vancouver including which spots are ideal for tourists.
